This blog began in the fall semester of 2008 when I studied and worked in Shanghai, China.
Three years later, I’ve decided to return to blogging again. This time as I spend a month in India.
In the future, I hope to continue this blog as I continue to travel and explore different places and cultures.
Please comment and email me your thoughts–I’d love to hear from you!
Hi, I’m Li Ping/Iris. I’m an exchange teacher from Xi’an, Shaan Xi province, China,
which is almost in the center of China. I hear about you and your new life from my friend Maureen. I’m interested in your passages, especially in what foreigners
feel about China.
Now I’m in Sharon, MA. I’m faced with the opposite problem. Without a car, I’m nearly stuck in Sharon. I used to ride a motorbike—an electric one, in Xi’an. Besides, taxis and public transportation are convenient. While, I can neither take
a taxi nor ride. (lanes are narrow for it) here. Hope for your new experiences.
Hi Ryan, Good luck with your travels to India. We are looking forward to the updates. Remember to drink bottled water. Dad
